1.Product Description
Zhixiangyuan's latest product, the audio line transformer (6W/3W/1.5W), is a passive impedance matching component designed specifically for installation in speaker systems. It allows you to choose the appropriate rated power (1.5W, 3W, or 6W) to match different speakers, ensuring efficient signal transmission and protecting the amplifier from incorrect load impedance. Installation requires chassis installation (using screws or brackets), then soldering the primary and secondary wires to the input/output terminals, and connecting the transformer between the amplifier and speaker, while observing the correct polarity and tap configuration. This setting is commonly used in multi tap audio distribution systems (such as 70V/100V lines) or old-fashioned tube amplifiers, providing flexibility for volume control and impedance bridging across multiple speakers. Application example:
For background music systems (such as shopping malls, restaurants, schools), you need to install dozens of ceiling speakers on the ceiling, but the distance between the amplifier and the speakers may be several hundred meters.
Problem:
Connecting directly with a regular power amplifier (with a fixed impedance of 4-16 Ω) will result in significant losses during long-distance transmission, and the amplifier cannot simultaneously drive so many low impedance speakers (the total impedance will be too low, burning the amplifier).
Solution:
The power amplifier outputs a 100V high voltage signal (constant voltage power amplifier).
Install a 6W/3W/1.5W transformer on each speaker.
Actual wiring:
Weld the input end (high voltage side) of the transformer to the 100V main line on the ceiling.
Connect the output terminal of the transformer (low resistance side, such as 4 Ω/8 Ω) to the horn.
Select the power tap according to the required volume in the area: only background sound is needed in the bathroom, choose the 1.5W gear; The hall needs to be slightly louder, choose 3W or 6W gear.
Effect: Several dozen speakers have been connected in parallel on the same line without interfering with each other, and there is no significant attenuation during long-distance transmission.
