On February 7, 2025, the tenth day of the first month of the lunar calendar, along with the festive atmosphere of the New Year, all the staff of Zhixiangyuan ushered in the opening day of the new year. In order to pray for good luck and prosperity in the New Year, the company especially organized a grand lion dance performance and the ceremony of welcoming the God of Wealth to start the struggle of the new year with traditional folk culture.

At 11:00 a.m., in front of the company, the gongs and drums were noisy and bustling. A mighty lion dance in the drums jumping, sometimes head high and tail swinging, sometimes stooping down to explore the road, implying that the company in the new year of vitality, step by step. After the lion dance performance, the God of Fortune made a surprise appearance, distributing the “starting bonus” and red envelopes symbolizing good luck for all the staff, the atmosphere was warm and the laughter was continuous.

As a traditional blessing activity, during the lion dance performance, Mr. Hu Zhiqiang, the chairman of Zhixiangyuan, and Ms. Chen Houqin, the general manager of Zhixiangyuan, personally hung the lettuce which symbolizes the “birth of wealth”, which not only implies the prosperous business in the new year, but also indicates that the company will climb the heights again in the new journey.

What is particularly striking is that after the performance, the chairman of the board, Mr. Hu, personally went on stage to express his sincere gratitude and respect to the lion dance team. Mr. Hu said, “On the occasion of the Chinese New Year, we invited the lion dance team to perform in our company not only to add to the festive atmosphere, but also in the hope that through such activities, our team can feel the charm of traditional culture, enhance team cohesion, and start a new year together.” Afterwards, Chairman Mr. Hu Zhiqiang and General Manager Ms. Chen Houqin handed each member of the Lion Dance Team a big red packet full of blessings, signifying good luck and career success in the new year.

In order to record this warm and unforgettable moment, Zhixiangyuan also specially arranged a group photo session. In front of the camera, Mr. Hu and the members of the lion dance team are in front of the desk, and everyone's face is full of happy smiles.
