Why Audio Isolation Matters
Ground loops occur whenever interconnected audio devices reference different ground potentials, injecting low-frequency hum into the signal path. An isolation transformer breaks the electrical path between devices while preserving the audio signal through magnetic coupling. Zhixiangyuan's audio isolators combine four core functions: impedance matching, signal isolation, ground-loop noise reduction, and balanced/unbalanced conversion.

ED8 shielded series — ED8×10, ED8×10 with shield, ED8×11, ED8×11 shielded & potted: 1:1 turns ratio with 600 Ω : 600 Ω input/output impedance, amorphous-alloy E-core, shielded and potted construction, and a 5-pin center-tap option. Permalloy EI series
— EI-14/16/19/24: high-nickel permalloy cores (Ni up to 80%) for high-inductance, high-fidelity signal paths. The EL14 type is rated 600 : 600 @ 1 kHz (0 dB), 600 mH : 600 mH, with isolation of 1200 V / 1 mA / 1 min and a frequency response of approximately 20 Hz – 20 kHz — verified parameters published on the official English site.
Shielded & potted isolators
— square ZXY2207/ZXY3529, round ZXY3108/ZXY3012 and rectangular ZXYDU18/ZXYDU19 metal-shielded modules for higher-power and industrial-grade isolation.
